THE CONSECRATED SHOULD BE THE GUARDIANS OF GOODNESS – HIS BEATITUDE GEORGE CARDINAL ALENCHERRY
The Congregation of the Society of the Oblates of Sacred Heart (OSH) celebrated the concluding ceremony of its Centenary on 18th of November, 2021, at S H Mount, Kottayam. The day started with the concelebration of the Holy Qurbana, precided over by the Auxiliary Bishops of Kottayam, Mar Joseph Pandarasheriyil and Geevarghese Mar Aprem. After the Qurbana, there was a meeting in which various dignitaries were present, and the principal among them were Cardinal George Mar Alencherry, the Major Archbishop of the Syro - Malabar Church. The Superior General of OSH, Rev. Fr. Stephen Muriamkottunirappil OSH, welcomed each and every guest present for the meeting. Cardinal George Alencherry, in his speech, expressed his gratitude to the OSH Community for its invaluable services rendered to the church and the society through its 100 years of missionary work. The other dignitaries also spoke some words of appreciation about the dedication and efforts done by the OSH Community to the church. The meeting concluded with the vote of thanks by Rev. Fr. Mathew Kuzhipallilil OSH, the chief program convenor and then Vicar General of OSH.
